Common questions

• How do I play? Tap the map to walk there; tap a person, chest or sign to walk up and use it. The round buttons open the menu and rest at a lotus altar. A game controller or Bluetooth keyboard also works (stick or WASD/arrows to move, A or Z to confirm, B or X to cancel, Esc for the menu).
• Accessibility? Settings (the gear icon) has Subtitle size, Reduce motion (also follows the iOS setting) and Colour-safe cues. The app's menus use Dynamic Type and VoiceOver labels.
• How do I save? Open the menu and choose Save, or rest at a lotus altar. The game also makes a suspend save when you leave the app while exploring, and Continue picks up from your latest save.
• Is my progress backed up? Yes. When you're online, saves sync to our server and follow your iCloud Keychain to a new iPhone. If two devices changed the same slot, the app asks which copy to keep. The other copy is kept in history.
• Can I play offline? Yes. The whole game, including voices, is inside the app. Sync catches up later.
• No sound? Check the silent switch, or turn on Play sound in silent mode in Settings. You can also check Options → Master Volume / Voice Volume.
• What's free? The prologue and the first region (the temple, the village and the Whispering Forest) are free. Full Game is a one-time purchase that unlocks everything after that. There are no subscriptions or ads.
• I bought the Full Game but it's locked. Open Settings (the gear icon) and tap Restore Purchases while signed in to the same Apple Account you bought with. Family Sharing members can restore the same way. If it still doesn't unlock, email us with your player ID (Settings).
• New iPhone? Install the game, then use Restore Purchases. Your saves come back through cloud save.
• Refunds? Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. A refunded purchase is locked again.
• What's in the Supporter Pack? An optional thank-you: a Voice Gallery to replay voiced lines, an alternate Kael app icon and a supporter badge. It's cosmetic only.
• Delete my data? Settings → Delete cloud data. See the Privacy Policy.
