AI Music Radar listens to music played near your iPhone or iPad, or to an audio file you import, and writes it out as notes: a piano roll, an engraved staff, MIDI and MusicXML. Transcription runs entirely on your device.

Common questions

• The app can’t hear anything. Allow microphone access in Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone → AI Music Radar.
• Notes are missing or extra. Play close to the device in a quiet room. Strong overtones can occasionally show up as an extra note an octave above.
• Does my audio get uploaded? No. Recordings and imported files are processed on your device and are never sent to us. See the Privacy Policy.
• Do I need an account? No. The app has no sign-in.
